LOCATION: Big Bend Cares 


TYPE OF POSITION: Full-time (Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) 

GENERAL FUNCTION: The Chief Talent Officer (CTO) will be responsible for overall talent acquisition strategy, execution, and operations, and employment branding functions. The qualified candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in Talent Acquisition and over two years of experience leading a Talent Acquisition function. Responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and long-term vision of the team, building and improving on operational recruitment processes, and the development of the employment brand and talent pipelines to attract and select top talent for the organization are a few of the most important aspects of this role. This position reports to the CEO and has no supervisory duties.


  • Develops and oversees the talent acquisition strategy for the company for both Big Bend Cares and Care Point needs.
  • Leverages social media networking and other recruiting technologies and tools to connect with a broad and diverse talent network while driving a strong employment brand.
  • Develops, implements and/or enhances day-to-day recruiting operations and programs. • Works with employment law firm to develop and implement employee handbook best practices, compliance and innovations.
  • Leverages succession and talent planning initiatives and integrates internal and external search activity to align with the succession plans and talent/competency gaps.
  • Informs CEO of all relevant Human Resource related issues, general company atmosphere and areas of improvement for company morale.
  • Leads the recruitment technology platform strategy and ensures full optimization and utilization of recruitment tools.
  • Recruits, hires, and retains talent.
  • Administers all aspects of Human Resources including, but not limited to, health and other benefit packages, FMLA, training, and employee relations.
  • Management and development of employee relations, reward systems, and wellness programs.
  • Develops and updates Human Resources policies and procedures.
  • Remains current on legal requirements and the impact of related laws, rules and regulations.
  • Works with Employment attorney and senior management to ensure disciplinary actions, employee warnings, performance reviews, raises, promotions and terminations are done in accordance with legal and best practice requirements.
  • Reviews every employee evaluation, corrective action and termination prior to employee receiving it.
  • Leads or assists with change management initiatives and other programs that support the organization in achieving its objectives.
  • Provides guidance and counseling to the management team on best practices, policies and regulations to ensure compliance, employee engagement, workforce planning, and appropriate handling of all HR-related issues.
  • Defines, develops and rolls out weekly/monthly/quarterly recruiting metrics (qualitative and quantitative) in collaboration with the leadership team. Drives the narrative of our recruiting status with data.
  • Guides and influences senior management on strategic Talent Acquisition issues across multiple functions/locations.
  • Ensures continuity and consistency of candidate acquisition strategy, company culture, and recruiting best-practices.
  • Serves as the key relationship manager of external third-party vendors to ensure current and future investments are optimized.
  • Leads the development of talent pipelines and programs to ensure the growth of talent pools to support the needs of the business.
  • Builds strong relationships and partnerships with hiring managers, leaders, and executives to advise on best practices, key hiring decisions, and workforce planning.
  • Participates in employee recruitment activities.
  • Leads employee and intern recruitment to meet agency’s needs.
  • Participates in company training initiatives that support interviewing, hiring, management, and supervisory best practices.
  • Develops, maintains and monitors written Recruitment processes and procedures, ensuring effective and efficient Recruitment operations.
  • Reviews each employee record at time of annual review to ensure all data is current and up to date.
  • Works with CEO to review healthcare and all other employee benefits to ensure optimal employee retention.
  • Works with CFO and finance department on changes to coverages, deductions, open enrollment and cost saving measures as required.
  • Maintains Glassdoor, Indeed, LinkedIn, and other career sites with current content and establishes a protocol to respond to every employee review.
  • Performs other duties, projects or initiatives as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent required
  • SHRM SCP Certification preferred
  • Over five (5) years of experience in Talent Acquisition
  • Over two (2) years of experience leading a Talent Acquisition function
  • Vendor Management experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong oral, written communications and interpersonal skills
  • A dynamic professional with strong business acumen and communication skills
  • Well organized, able to handle details accurately
  • Ability to set an agenda and drive change efforts

LOCATION: Care Point

DEPARTMENT: Dental Department

TYPE OF POSITION: Part-time (Mon-Fri 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.)

GENERAL FUNCTION: The Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) is responsible for rendering dental care in terms of individualized patient needs with recognized dental assistant techniques, procedures, and established standards based on the scope of dental assisting, under the direction/delegation of the Dentist.


  • Consistently maintain a kind and compassionate attitude with co-workers and patients.
  • Escort patient to and from reception area to dental operatory.
  • Provide front desk with completed check out form and any referrals to be scanned.
  • Perform charting and educate patients, as appropriate.
  • Document charting in Eaglesoft as dentist performs clinical exam.
  • Print treatment plans and provide to patients and responsible financial provider as directed.
  • Operatory set-up and clean-up, applying the principles of aseptic techniques and infection control.
  • Complete sterilization processes for equipment.
  • Keep good time management to maintain flow of schedule.
  • Takes x-rays per provider orders and specifications.
  • Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning log.
  • Enter and update patient treatment plans at the direction of the treating dentist using the practice management system.
  • Monitor and maintain supplies in the office, keeping an accurate and up to date inventory of medications and dental supplies.
    • Inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt and stocking rooms.
  • Utilizes EDR for all procedures and documentation.
  • Observing, recording, and reporting patient’s condition and reaction to drugs and treatments to providers.
  • Assist provider with any in-office procedures, per scope of dental assisting.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the health care team in coordination of the patient’s care.
  • Following clinic policies for infection control in handling and disposing of infectious/hazardous waste materials.
  • Secures patient information and maintains patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records; completing diagnostic coding and procedure coding; keeping patient information confidential.
  • Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
  • Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
  • Serves and protects the practice by adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

TYPE OF POSITION: Part-time (Monday-Friday – must be flexible/hours vary)

POSITION SUMMARY:  This position provides transportation to medical related appointments for patients.

REPORTS TO: Chief Operating Officer, Care Point Health and Wellness Center

QUALIFICATIONS:  The employee must be 25 years of age or older and have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record (both rechecked each year when personnel evaluation is completed). Knowledge of excel and word programs is suggested.  Good organizational skills a plus.


  • Provide transportation using clinic van to patients of Care Point Health and Wellness Center/Big Bend Cares to medical related appointments
  • Manage the maintenance of the agency van
  • Follow all traffic and regulatory procedures
  • Assist with administrative duties
  • Courier services if indicated by management
  • Other duties as assigned
